Biography
Kyle attended Thomson Rivers University law school in Kamloops. During law school, Kyle participated in the moot court association, Indigenous Law Students Association and the Canadian Journal for Comparative and Contemporary Law, where he was an editor.
After law school, Kyle articled at a local mixed-practice litigation firm with a focus on personal injury and employment law. This experience was in addition to his pre-law school practice as a paralegal for five years at a U.S. immigration firm where he assisted business clients in getting work visas and green cards.
Kyle is a member of our litigation and immigration groups. When not in court, Kyle enjoys advising businesses, families and individuals on their immigration needs.
Outside of legal practice, Kyle is an active member of BC’s Scottish piping and drumming community. As a snare drummer with the SFU Pipe Band, Kyle has performed in concerts and competitions across the world including the world championships in Scotland. Kyle is a board member of the SFU Pipe Band Society where he assists with legal operations.
